taken on the 8th National Congress of the Sacred Heart of
Jesus ... wonderful experience ... Ghana was Consecrated to
the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary
... in our hearts, we consecrated also the Philippines!!!!!
God has given us the opportunity to interact with the Bishops,
Clergy, Religious and different nationalities... God has given
us the courage to talk to them, especially the Bishops and
make them aware of the existence of CFC-FFL in Ghana.
The Archbishop of Cape Coast and Bishop of Techiman, according
to them, they attended the CFC-Global anniversary last June,
2011.
Cardinal Turkson said " I am a Filipino also, my Bishop
(spiritual director) is a Fil." as if he's teasing us!!!!
Bishop of Damongo, akala ng marami, magkapatid sila ni Flor
... Same face ... fat ... and ... short !!!! sabi ni Flor,
tatlo na kami!!!! ang isa pa si Bp Lodonu, fat and short daw
si Flor kamukha nya!!!!
Bishop of Koforidua, said in his welcome address,"Koforidua
is a city of flowers". Flor was very happy when she heard
that..she can buy a lot of seedlings to plant in Madonna House
garden. After the session, on our way back to the Pastoral
Center, Flor was looking around and she can't see any flowers..
she asked the Bp of Koforidua about it and also where to buy
the seedlings, but he just laughed aloud and told Flor to
ask the Filipina sister, Holy Spirit Cong'n, if she has seedlings..In
short no seedlings..Flor was very "makulit", tinanong
ulit ang Bp about the seedlings, and once again, napakalakas
ng tawa niya, napalingon nga sa kanya lahat ng tao dun..The
Bp told Flor that the flowers he's referring to were "
Women". alam na natin kung anu yun!!!! Natawa lalo ang
Bp coz Flor told him that " it's ok, no flower seedlings
but i have the dwarf coconut seedlings"..eh,.meron din
palang ibig sabihin yun!!!! Very funny, one of the religious
said, " it is a sin if you make the Bishop laugh yun
ang dinig ni Flor..nasabi nya tuloy, "it's not my fault,
i did'nt say funny things to them"... the sister, said
it again " it is a seed, if you make the Bishop laugh."
You'll be remembered.
Some foreign delegates from Cameroon, Nigeria and Siera Leone
are interested in CFCFFL..We met some inactive members from
Accra.. Vicar General of Accra said that he will call us..hope
so...One of the Bishops said that his parents are also members
, very old now, it's in Kumasi. We met also a priest from
Sunyani and inviting us to his parish!!!! akala nila guro
sina Ed and Bibeth kami!!!
We are very grateful to the Lord for this Congress of the
Sacred Heart of Jesus and to Bp Lodonu and Fr. Patrick Attah,
Parish Priest of the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Ho Diocese..
We're ready to sleep in the school with the parishioners but
God has given us a good / free accommodation(with food) as
if we 're in the hotel for 4 days!!!! A coaster instead of
government / school bus. In going back and forth to the site,
it was Bp Lodonu and the Religious from other diocese..The
Congress committee has given us a special seats!!!!!
Most of all, we praise and glorify God for renewing our spiritual
life and our physical strength.. and for a very wonderful
experience.
