for Peace were raise up high in
prayer by a thousand boys and girls
from different parishes, schools
and organizations such as the Kids
from CFC Foundation for Family and
Life as they gathered for the 9th
Children’s Rosary Rally to
commemorate the 90th Anniversary
of the last day of the appearance
of our Lady of Fatima in Portugal.
The day was Saturday, the 13th of
October 2007. The venue was the
Tiendesitas Activity Center in Pasig
City, the starting point of the
24-hour Mary-thon Rosary Rally that
would encircle the globe.
The
recitation of the Rosary was preceded
by the celebration of the Eucharist
led by Fr. Edwin Mercado, Rector
of the San Carlos Seminary and Executive
Director of the Evangelion Foundation.
Concelebrating were Fr. Parimal
Pereira, CSC from Bangladesh and
Fr. Jim Phalan, CSC - Int’l
Director for the Family Rosary Crusade.
Former Ambassador to the Holy See
and Chairman of the Children's Rosary
Crusade Francisco Alba and his wife
were also present. |
