Popes
John Paul II and Benedict XVI have sounded the call to the
New Evangelization. It is a very urgent call. It is a call
that recognizes the massive assaults on the faith during these
times, and the onslaught of the tsunami of evil that is overwhelming
the whole world.
Now
evangelization is not new. It is 2000 years old. The Holy
Spirit came down on Pentecost and the disciples of Jesus went
on to evangelize the world. But after 2000 years, the world
is once again in darkeness. What happened?
Many
Christian and Christian nations have succumbed to the deadly
isms of the times - modernism, relativism, secular hedonism,
materialism, consumerism, cultural Marxism. They are no longer
witnesses to Christ in the power of the Spirit.
The
situation in the world has become critical. Faith has grown
cold. The whole Church has to rediscover the true meaning
of evangelization, according to God's principles. The way
forward is the way of Penetcost, the missionary spirit we
see in the history of the early Church. Unless we put on the
mind and the heart of God, we will end up doing more of the
same, and continue to lose territory to the enemy,
We
are in the end times, and how we respond will be crucial to
preparing the bride of Christ for the coming of the Bridegroom.
So now we go on an exciting journey, discovering the riches
of the Spirit's prophetic call to the New Evangelization.
Let us be on our way. |

There
is a raging brutal war in the world today, inflicting hundreds
of millions of casualties. It is a war against the unborn.
It is a continuing holocaust against the most innocent and
defenseless of persons, the child in the womb.
But
it is not only the unborn that are targeted by the dark forces
waging this war. It actually is a war against faith, family
and life. It is an assault against societies and the whole
world. It is an attack against the churches, especially against
the holy Roman Catholic Church. It is a direct confrontation
against God and every good that God stands for.
Who
are the dark forces? They are among the most powerful forces
on earth. They are the developed Western nations, with their
great political, economic and military might, led by the most
nation on earth, the United States of America. They are the
world institutions of power - The United Nations, The European
Union, international media, multinational corporations, billionaire
philantrophists, powerful anti-life and homosexual lobbies,
and secret elite societies. Even the Christian churches have
been infiltrated, with many dissidents including priests,
nuns and bishops. Behind them all is Satan himself.
We
are in the end times. The culture of death blankets the whole
world. Judeo-Christian civilization as we know it is rapidly
dissolving. Lives, marriages, familes, religions, societies,
freedom - all are under severe threat. Time is running out.
All
true Christians are called to engage in this war. We are to
fight for the culture of life. Get to know what this war is
all about and be equipped. Go off now to a 40-day boot camp. |

40
Days in the Strength of God
(September 2011)
In
the year 2011, CFC-FFL is 30 years old. Its theme for the
year is "My God is now my strength!" (Isaiah 49:5).
It is an imposing theme, with the Lord offering the fulness
of His grace and strength for the work beyond the 30 years.
With
the world in deep darkness, with anti-life and anti-family
forces rampaging, with even the Church buffeted from within,
there is a great challenge for followers of Christ to stand
and be counted, and to give their all for the cause of the
Kingdom.
Once
again CFC-FFL is at the crossroad. With 30 years of experience
in doing God's work, with all the ups and downs, having been
purified and restored, will the army that is CFC-FFL go all
out for Jesus? Are the brethren willing to give their all,
holding nothing back, even their very lives? Will they as
God's servants take hold of the fullness of God's grace and
be made glorious in the sight of the Lord?
Be
with Jesus over these 40 days and understand more clearly
what God's call to CFC-FFL is.

Worship

Worship is the vocation of every Christian. It is the core
of our relationship with God. It is indispensable to one
who professes to live a life for God.
Now worship is such an amazing privilege, which many Christians
are not fully aware of. As such, they are missing out on
much of what God has in store for them.

Following
Christ
THE CALL TO DISCIPLESHIP
(June
2010)
Jesus
calls us to become his disciples. This is a very profound
call that many Christians fail to understand and properly
repond to. As such, there are many who are Christian in
name but not in actual living out of the fullness of their
faith in Christ.
To
be a disciple is to have a profound relationship with the
Triune God.
Following
from the above, to be a disciple is to have and intimate relationship
with other Christians.
- As
brothers and sisters in the family of God
- As
co-workers in the kingdom of God
- As
comrades-in-arms in the army of God.
The
disciples of Jesus are crucial to the work of proclaiming
the good news of salvation to the whole world. As Christians
we are priveleged to be called. But it is a great responsibility.
Jesus has entrusted to his workers the harvest that has already
been prepared.
It
is crucial that we learn what it really means to follow Christ.

Days with Job
(April 2010)
For
2010, God brought CFC-FFL to a very challenging book for its
theme for the year. This is the book of Job. It is challenging
because the book of Job is about the great affliction of a
man who was blameless and upright.
Having
come from the book of Lamentations for the year 2007, when
CFC experienced a crisis and then split into two, what could
God have in store for His faithful remnant?
Now,
just as then, God is only manifesting His great love for us.
He is doing what is needed to make us a holy remnant, a community
that He can truly use for His purposes.
Learn
to understand more the mysterious ways of the Almighty God.
-
The justice and righteousness of God
-
The reality of spiritual warfare
-
The mystery of redemptive suffering
-
Having true hope, joy and trust in God
-
The way of the cross
Job
points us to Jesus. Let us then sit on the ash heap with him,
and learn the lessons of Job. |

Servant
Leadership
(October
2009)
The
term “servant leader” is seemingly an oxymoron.
To the human understanding, the words “servant”
and “leader” are diametrically opposed. But
with God that is not the case. In the kingdom of God, the
leader is the one who serves.
It
is important for those who are called to servant leadership
to understand what this call is all about. This is because
God is entrusting them with a great treasure. How they handle
this treasure will determine how the plan of God for the
world will unfold.

A
Covenant with God
(August
2009)
In
CFC, we have our covenant with God. This covenant is at
the very core of our relationship with God and His call
to us. It is at the core of our relationship with each other
as the people of God. It is at the core of our relationship
with the world that God created and that needs redemption.
Our covenant is God's blessing to us and our great privilege.
We praise God for our covenant, and strice to live it out
to the full.

A
Future Full of Hope
(March 2009)
The
world is in a sorry mess. It is steeped in darkness and
sin.
What
does the future hold? It seems we can only look forward
to more of the same -- poverty, social injustice, the culture
of death, war, terrorism, eclogical disaster. Many in their
helplessness have resigned themselves to hopelessness.
But
is this the proper posture? Is there really no hope? Is
there really nothing we can do? For many, it seems the tragic
answer is yes.
This
book begs to disagree.
Because
there is God, then we have hope. God has provided everything
needed to restore us to the fullness of life He originally
intended. Once again, we can look to being in paradise with
Him.
But
we need to do our part. This is what this book is all about.
If
we do our part, according to the revelation of God, then
we face a future full of hope.

40
Days of Lamentations
(June 2007)
On February 13, 2007, something happened that sent shock waves
throughout the whole global CFC family. Three top elders resigned
from the CFC Council, the top governing body in CFC. Shock,
disbelief, confusion, sorrow. Speculations abounded. What
was happening? CFC had just celebrated its 25th year, basking
in the wonderful and awesome work of God that CFC was privileged
to do. What was wrong?
God
once again was at work. God loves CFC so much and wants to
use CFC in greater ways that He, at the start of CFC’s
next 25 years, was causing a divine upheaval in order to purify
CFC and prepare us for the greater work ahead. But the enemy
is also at work. The enemy is aware of God’s intent.
The enemy will do anything to thwart God’s plan. And
so an intense spiritual battle is raging for the mind and
heart of CFC.
Now
CFC is at the crossroad. Will there be a continuing slide
into greater infidelity to God’s call to us, or will
CFC move on to greater empowerment of the Spirit? The key
lies in learning the lessons of Lamentations.

Showing
His Power and Majesty
(November 2006)
The world is in a mess. Where is God? Does God care about
what is happening in the world? Is there hope for humanity?
The truth is that God has acted, and continues to act, to
manifest His love for the world. God desires to bring His
people back to Himself, as a Shepherd with His flock, as
a Father with His children.
But
how God intends to do this is a great mystery, in that it
involves you and me. The manifestation of God’s power
and majesty in the world is entirely up to us. Will we experience
hell or heaven on earth? Our fate is in our hands.

Friend
or Foe?
Fighting the Enemy Within
(February 2006)
Qoheleth II is at it again! Not content with having ruffled
the feathers of women with “Females are Fabulous”
(a.k.a. “Women are Weird”), he now takes on
the establishment. Shifting his sights from the domestic
church (the home) to the wider church, he aims high at those
who rule, and uncovers the failings of the high and mighty,
of the powers that be, of the movers and shakers in ministry.
From the bedroom to the boardroom, from the women who rule
over the home to the men (and some women) who rule under
the dome, from the weird to the feared, Qoheleth II brings
his incisive insight into the world of spirituality and
mission.
Irreverent!
Bold! A challenge to long-held mindsets and revered paradigms.
The aim however is not to destroy, but to build up. In cutting
down, the desired effect is to raise up. In being humbled,
in due time one is exalted. A must read for those who presume
to leadership over God’s people. |

Days with the Poor
(June 2005)
Do you know that …
-
It is a blessing for us to have so many poor people
around?
-
Our so-called “less fortunate” brethren
are more fortunate than we are?
-
The poor man is our brother whom we are to care for?
-
There is a lot of injustice in the world, and we are
among those responsible?
-
It is our fault if the poor remain poor?
-
Many rich people are fools?
-
The poor will make it to heaven but we might not?
Do
you want to know how …
-
Your prayers can be heard by God?
-
God can be in your debt?
-
You can be protected from adversity?
-
You can experience prosperity and honor?
-
You can be happy even in misfortune?
-
You can escape hell and make it to heaven?
-
We can all live in peace?
Find
out for yourself. Spend these 40 days with the poor.

Fulfilling
the Mandate
(January 2005)
It has been 2,000 years since Jesus won the victory on the
cross, and since he issued the Great Commission to his disciples
to evangelize the world. For the first few centuries, Jesus’
disciples indeed successfully evangelized the whole world.
But today this same world is covered with the darkness of
evil and sin. Our world today, reeling from the relentless
assaults of the enemy, is tottering on the brink of the
abyss.
What
needs to be done? We need to recover the meaning of the mission
of Jesus. And we need to understand the meaning of his final
instructions, his marching orders, to his disciples. Only
when we understand, obey, and give our total commitment to
Jesus’ mission will we be able to stem the tide. And
experience once again Jesus’ victory on the cross. |

Females
are Fabulous
(January 2004)
In 1947 Ta‘amire Bedouins made an amazing discovery
in a cave on the northwest shore of the Dead Sea in Palestine.
In clay jars were manuscripts and portions of manuscripts.
These were what eventually came to be known as the Dead
Sea Scrolls. Unknown to the world however was the discovery
in a nearby cave of another scroll, found in a container
that could have been an ancient waste basket. The female
archeologist who was consulted about it dismissed it outright
and proposed to destroy it. But those who found it held
on to it and for many years the scroll was lost to the world
as it was passed from one person to another. Until now.
Now
here it is. Wisdom from the ages (or from the aged). Translated
from the ancient language, this book plumbs the depths of
the male-female relationship, probes into the female psyche,
examines the roots of the age-old conflict between men and
women, and proposes how to achieve détente.
A
must read for all men who relate to women. Do you have a mother?
Do you have a sister? Do you have a girl friend or wife? Do
you have a daughter? Do you have female friends or officemates?
Do you talk to, do business with, relate to, teach, counsel
or meet with women? If yes, then this book is for you. |

Facing
the Future
(January 2003)
At the start of this third millennium, we live in a world
that continues to be battered by the onslaught of evil forces.
There continues the massive murder of the innocents through
abortion, unrelenting attacks on the family, the spread of
criminality and corruption. On top of these, we face a radically
changing world. Globalization threatens to widen the gap between
the rich and the poor. Global terrorism threatens the lives
and well-being of everyone. Rapid advances in information
technology make pornography and pedophilia accessible at the
click of a finger. The hand of diabolical forces is evident.
It
is precisely for such a time as this that God raised up Couples
for Christ over 21 years ago. Having been nurtured and set
on a strong foundation, Couples for Christ is now at the cutting
edge of God’s work in the world. Couples for Christ
is a multinational army with soldiers from very many nations,
races, peoples and tongues. Today Couples for Christ is challenged
to carry out the mission for which it had been created. Couples
for Christ is being sent forth by the Triune God, to help
fulfill the Father’s plan to unite all in Christ (Eph
1:10), to carry on the mission of Jesus to bring glad tidings
to the poor (Lk 4:18-19), and by the power of the Holy Spirit
to become witnesses to the ends of the earth. This book looks
at the clear vision and mission of Couples for Christ for
the third millennium. It is a call to arms. It is a challenge
to live up to God’s expectations. It presents an opportunity
to participate in the greatest drama unfolding today in the
heavens and on earth. |

the Captives
(June 2002)
Poverty. Crime. Pollution. Injustice. Exploitation. Oppression.
The world today is in a big mess. Is there any hope for
meaningful change? Can we all look forward to a better future?
The
good news is that yes, we can. God, Who gave us a perfect
world to begin with, has sent His own Son into the world to
redeem it. Jesus has come into the world and proclaimed the
good news of bringing glad tidings to the poor. Jesus has
completed his mission, but the work is not yet over. Much
more has to be done. Jesus has instructed his disciples to
carry on his mission, and is waiting for them to respond.
This book is about such a response. |

Witnesses
to the Ends of the Earth
(November 1998)
Today we are at the threshold of the third millennium. And
the people of God face a momentous challenge. It has been
2,000 years of Christianity, but the commission of the Lord
Jesus Christ to bring the gospel to the whole world has
not been accomplished. In fact, the Church itself is being
buffeted by dark winds and sinister forces, both from without
and within. Spiritual warfare continues to rage in the heavens
and on earth. At stake are the billions of souls on the
face of the earth.
In
June of 1981, God raised up a new army to participate in the
war. God raised up a movement to work for global evangelization
and renewal. That movement is Couples for Christ. Now, 17
years later, Couples for Christ has made and continues to
make a tremendous impact throughout the world. But all is
not well. Now, towards the end of the second millennium and
at the threshold of the third, Couples for Christ has come
to a crossroad. Its future usefulness to God and his work
is threatened. The dangers are very real, but the opportunities
also continue to be tremendous and exciting. Will the members
of Couples for Christ give in to the ravaging attacks of the
flesh, the world and the devil, or will they continue to move
on in the power of the Holy Spirit? Has the zeal of Couples
for Christ grown cold, or will it continue to blaze with the
fire of God’s love? Will the work of Couples for Christ
end the millennium with a whimper or with a
bang? Will God discard Couples for Christ, or continue to
use it mightily in accordance with his will?
Now, more than ever, there is a great need for Christ’s
witnesses to be sent to the ends of the earth. Will Couples
for Christ be counted among them? Will Couples for Christ
be part of the victorious army of Jesus Christ, as history
races into the third millennium and closer to the end of time?
This book presents a clear vision of the call of God to Couples
for Christ, and issues a challenge to understand the call,
accept it, and live it out. It is for all who are truly serious
about their involvement in the life and mission of Couples
for Christ. |

Focused
on Christ
(. . . 1997)
To those whom Jesus calls to be his disciples, he issues
the invitation, “Come follow me.” And we know
that if we persevere and live out this call, Jesus will
lead us all the way to heaven. But for Christians today,
living in the midst of a world environment hostile to Christian
ideals and values, it is not that hard to get lost or sidetracked.
It is not that hard to lose sight of Jesus. And some ultimately
miss out on their intended final destination.
How
can we respond faithfully to Jesus’ call and receive
the fullness of his life? How can we persevere in our faith
and make it to our eternal reward? The key is in “keeping
our eyes fixed on Jesus, the leader and perfecter of faith.”

Families
in the Holy Spirit
(. . . 1997)

powerful forces all around it. There is the secular and

Renewing
the Face of the Earth
(. . . 1997)
Many Christians today are unaware of God’s call to
them to participate in the work of evangelization. Some
Christians may be aware but are ignorant as to how to go
about this work. Still others try to do their share but
are often frustrated and discouraged by their weakness and
failures. But the work of evangelization is at the heart
of being a true Christian. Evangelization is the practical
living out of the two greatest commandments, love of God
and love of neighbor. Thus to evangelize is not an option
but a necessity for a follower of Jesus Christ.
This
book explains what the work of evangelization is all about--how
it is in accordance with God’s plan, the meaning of
the Great Commission, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, charismatic
gifts. |
