CFC-Kids
for Family and Life
What
is the reality concerning kids today?
Kids
today (2009) are affected by the “emo” culture
or a culture of insecurity and feeling of unworthiness.
They are also more mature than their age. They are individualistic
- not eager to interact with other kids. Kids are stressed!
Affected by media, peers, etc. They are not afraid of authority
- they do and try anything that they want. Kids today have
no good role models. And there are no more kid friendly
shows on TV. And above all that, they have less time with
parents and almost no family time.
What
is CFC Kids for Family and Life (CFC-KFL)?
CFC-KFL
is a young ministry of Couples for Christ Foundation for
Family and Life (CFC-FFL). Members are
aged 0 - 12 years old.
What
is the Vision of CFC-KFL?
CFC
KFL will bring out the BEST in Kids!
CFC
KFL will be a venue to form Strong Christian Families by
having parents who are involved with their kids and having
kids who are part of the life of the Church!
CFC
KFL will bring kids into a deeper relationship with Christ
because NO ONE is too young to know Christ!
What
does CFC-KFL believe?
-
Children have a special place in God’s heart (Mt
18: 1 - 6; 10).
-
Children can grow in their love for and trust in God through
a personal relationship with Jesus Christ (Eph 6: 4).
- The
pre-teen stage of a child’s life is crucial as it
is part of his formative years.
-
Children need a positive concept of themselves.
-
Children’s God-given talents need to be recognized
and nurtured in a healthy Christian environment that is
fun-loving and life giving.
-
Children may play a significant role in the life and mission
of the church (1 Tim 4: 12).
- Christian
Family renewal can best be achieved if all the members
of the family have accepted Jesus as the center of their
home - including the children (Jos 24: 15).
What
does CFC-KFL aim to do?
- Help
the children enjoy a relationship with Jesus Christ in
an environment that is fun and life-giving through scripture,
worship, education, service and in fellowship with their
friends.
- Create
an atmosphere where Christian values can be shared, practiced,
supported, developed, experienced and more importantly
reinforced in the home.
- Conduct
spiritual training for the children that will be reinforced
in the home, thus conduct training for the parents as
well so that CFC-KFL and the parents can work hand in
hand in their spiritual nourishment.

The
CFC-KFL Purpose Statement
CFC KFL exists to provide an environment for Kids to HONOR
Jesus and Mama Mary by living like them, to EMPOWER them
to ACT in humble service, to encourage them to RELATE in
joy with their family, friends and the Church and to TESTIFY
to God’s love.
Who
are involved with CFC-KFL?
- The
Parents
Parents are at the forefront of our work with the kids.
Whatever is taught at home is reinforced in CFC KFL. And
without the commitment and support of the parents, CFC
KFL will not be able to penetrate the kids completely
especially in their faith and personal relationship with
Christ!
- The
CFC-KFL Workers
Coordinators, Fulltime workers, Kids Ministry Servants
